Common questions

What should a drug panel include?

Panels are customizable. Discuss fentanyl and, depending on the population, oxycodone, buprenorphine, tramadol or K2 with a specialist so you add what your program needs. Confirm the analytes available for your selected device.

Oral fluid vs. urine — which should we use?

Urine cups offer a range of panel options. Oral-fluid devices support observed collection with minimal facilities. Compare specimen type, collection workflow and available panels with a specialist before selecting the format.

What does CLIA-waived actually mean?

Ask for the selected device's current regulatory documentation and instructions, and confirm the requirements that apply to your testing setting. Regulatory status is device-specific; a general product-family description is not a substitute for that review.

How do cut-off levels work?

A cut-off is the concentration at which a device reports a negative or non-negative screening result. Ask for the current analyte list and cut-offs for the specific device and panel you plan to use.

What happens when a rapid test is non-negative?

A rapid device screens; it does not confirm. Discuss lab confirmation through Noble Diagnostics, chain-of-custody and result review with your program's qualified reviewer before making decisions based on a screening result.

Can we customize panels or private-label?

Yes — customization is the core of what we do. Build the exact panel configuration your program needs, and distributors can discuss private-label runs with their own branding. Talk to a rep about minimums and lead times.
